I can’t say enough good things about Thunderhouse Moto and the amber light they fabricated for my Yamaha Bolt.
First off, the simplicity of the kit is awesome. It’s straightforward, clean, and feels like something that was actually designed with the rider in mind. No unnecessary complexity, no headache trying to figure out what goes where — just a solid, well-made setup that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
What really stood out to me, though, was the customer service. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was right and that he could actually deliver what I was looking for. You don’t get that level of personal attention from everyone, and it made the whole experience that much better.
And the light itself? Absolutely incredible. I’ve had this thing save my ass countless times already. Riding through San Diego rush-hour traffic can be sketchy, especially when you’re sitting at a dead stop surrounded by cars. The second I flick that amber light on, it’s like the Red Sea parts.
Cars actually notice me and make room, giving me the space I need to get through traffic.
If you ride a Yamaha Bolt and have been thinking about getting one of these, I honestly couldn’t recommend Thunderhouse Moto more. Great product, simple installation, and even better customer service. You can tell this guy actually cares about what he builds and the people riding with it.
10/10 product and 10/10 customer service. Definitely worth it.
Love the cleaned up look with this bracket. Build and paint quality is really solid. A recommendation I saw elsewhere is to dremel the stock plastic bracket to reinstall the portion that covers the electronic connections. Had no issues with making that work and would definitely recommend.
I love this set up. It was very easy to install. Hardest part was being patient for how long it took to send me the light, but I understand with fabrication and such. None the less, the owner was very nice and timely in responses when I sent my emails. I wasn’t rude myself, but might have been persistent. It is a lot brighter than the stock headlight and looks really cool. I have had many compliments on the light and bar. I will be working with this company again for anything else they offer and I want. High quality!!!!
Store owner replied:
Hey Jannes,
I’m sorry to hear you were disappointed with the part, and I appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback.
I did want to clarify a couple things for anyone reading — the small uncoated area shown in your photo is from the hanging point used during the powder coating process. This is standard across the industry, as the part has to be suspended during coating and curing. That area is typically very minimal and, in this case, sits under the mounting hardware once installed.
That said, I understand your concern given your environment and I agree that proper protection is important, especially in harsher climates.
We did offer both a replacement and a return, and also worked toward a partial refund solution to help cover local refinishing — however, international shipping costs and tariffs (which are unfortunately outside of our control) made this situation more complicated than usual.
As a small one-man shop, I’ll also own that response times can occasionally be delayed, especially during peak season or when unexpected situations come up — but I always do my best to make things right and take care of customers.
I stand behind my work and am always willing to work toward a fair solution. If you’d still like to resolve this, feel free to reach out and I’ll do what I can to help.

Thunder House Moto
Got my Baja light kit on the other day but weather has been bad. Was able to go out for a little ride to check out placement and brightness tonight! Damn! Super bright And good light pattern. With high beam you won’t be able to miss anything on the road.
Quality work from a skilled craftsman. I appreciate you customization when I asked for a flat plate on the front 🤙🏿.
This guys going to continue to drain my wallet with cool pieces like this coming out🥲
super easy install less than 10 minutes!! very quality product and awesome customer service!! wont be the last piece i order by any means!! i love thunderhouse moto!!
Great quality and craftsmanship. Very easy installation. All equipment was included. Only 1 tool needed to fully assemble. Love the powder coating and appearance of the weld joints. Very good metal forming. All the angles and lines are as they should. Great look and low profile sleek design are eloquently achieved. I highly recommend.
Bought the Memphis Shades fairing not knowing you should get a headlight forwarding kit to make the fit perfect. Didn’t look too far to find Thunderhouse Moto and the one they sell. Everything came in perfect shape and installed very easily. The headlight and fairing pair perfectly together now, would highly recommend this!
I’ve had this mini light bar for 5 months now, and it has been such a simple, yet extremely beneficial addition to my bolt. It has been such a quality of life improvement during night rides, and it’s not too overbearing to opposing drivers!
As a stunt rider the thunderhouse moto crash protection has been an saving grace for my bike. It's no secret my bike has probably copped more abuse than most bolt owners could imagine. But with the thunderhousemoto.com crash protection it takes it and asks for more. Occasionally mistakes happen from dropping it in the garage to cars pulling out infront of you. Not only does it protect the bike and its components it has a better chance of protecting you by creating a space between the bike and the ground that doesn't interfere with your riding at all.
Recently I came off the bike while standing ontop of the seat and lost my footing. The bike ended up crashing into a tree at around 45kph (30mph). And to say it wasn't a substantial impact wouldn't be doing that tree justice. But unbelievably the bike was fine. Key off and back on and away she went with 0 damage to the bike aside from the cage. Due to the impact it folded one side of the cage in. But by doing so saved the frame from any damage (even the powder coating is fine) there tough enough to withstand being pancaked vertically but have crumple zones incorporated to save your bike. I cannot recommend this enough. And if you care about your bolt this is the product you need to keep both you and the bike in one piece reguardless of your riding styles
If you want to see this cage in action check out dyna_dyl on instagram or message me directly it is without a doubt the reason the bolt and myself have lasted this long and continue to do so
I had recently converted my c spec to an r spec so I had installed the Memphis shades road warior farring. I bought this bracket for my bolt because my headlight was sitting too far back from the farring and I was getting a light reflecting from it off the farring at night and it was blining.
The instal was super easy and the product and the bolts were perfect. but from the faring I having on my 2025 c-spec my turn signals were now in the way. So I had to cut away at the faring which I didn't mind since the turn signals are mounted to the headlight bucket on the c spec. And I really had no other choose because It also brought the turn signals forward as well.
Overall great product and I look forward to finishing my build with thunder house moto.
Is it quality? can it even hold anything? Is it worth it? The answer is hell YES. Why waste money on big names that don’t stand behind their product when you can buy from the best.
Not too bad going on. Had to make a few adjustments so I can keep the stock turn signals. Overall it's amazing and robust. Protects the bike just how stunt bars should 👍
Great service from TM im from the netherlands and i was searching for a headlight bracket. Helped me really good en the bracket arrived very fast.
Fits perfect and really good quality.
Thanks TM!
